Two men, one woman, and a romantic vineyard. Summer’s never been this hot…

Tastes of Seduction, Book 1

Angus Lowe feels like he’s just stepped onto the set of Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous. He’s checking out a luxurious boutique hotel and winery, lured by the possibility of landscaping the gardens. And he’s crazy mad about the woman giving him the tour.

Problem is, Lily Hemington is way out of his league. Not only does she live the lifestyle of the rich and famous, she is also crazy mad about the owner of the hotel, Blake Seymour.

Issues get cloudier—or could that be steamier?—when Angus meets Blake. It’s clear Blake has deep feelings for Lily, but it’s also obvious he can’t take his eyes off Angus. While Angus doesn’t find this at all unpleasant, he’s painfully aware Lily and Blake are perfect for each other, and that he doesn’t belong in their perfect world.

Now it’s up to Lily and Blake to convince Angus the only world that counts is the one they all create together.

Product Warnings: This book should be enjoyed with a bottle of chilled white wine. You’ll need it to cool down when the heat among these three characters burns out of control.

Excerpt

Lily would have stumbled in surprise had her mouth not been plastered to the hottest, most pliable set of lips she’d ever had the pleasure of kissing.

And pleasure was the key word here. Sharp tingles of delight skittered up her back and down again, touching the length of her spine, creating a pool of ecstasy so sublime it reached all the way down to her toes. Blood raced through her veins, sizzling from the heat of Angus’s mouth.

Angus—whose very presence at her home every morning made sleep impossible. How could she hope to get a decent night’s rest when at least every second minute alone in the dark was spent anticipating his early-morning arrivals? Then there was the late-afternoon torture—or delight, depending how she looked at it—when she got home to find him working shirtless in her garden, muscles rippling as he dug or planted. More than once, she’d watched a bead of sweat slip down his spine or chest and been forced to find an icy drink to cool herself down.

It took a second to find her bearings, to realize that one of the two men she’d fantasized about endlessly now kissed her. And then she lost herself to the moment. She relaxed against his massive chest, opened her lips to his probing tongue and kissed him back, savoring the hints of wine on his breath.

He glided his tongue over hers with a demanding, velvety heat, and lust exploded in Lily’s belly.

Angus wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her close, molding her body to his. Instinctively, she pushed up on her toes, giving herself more height. God, he was enormous. The hours spent reshaping gardens had gifted him with a chest and stomach as hard as a brick wall. And he smelt so good. Like a man should smell. Soapy, clean and earthy.

She pressed her breasts against all that muscle, loving how her nipples tightened and tingled at the contact. In return, Angus twisted his hips, pressing against Lily’s stomach and rocking.

Were those violins playing? Stars swimming before her eyes? Or was the unexpected taste of Angus Lowe enough to make her as high as a kite?

Lily curled her hand around his neck and tucked her fingers into his thick brown hair, pulling him a little closer so she could gorge on the Cabernet that flavored his mouth. The no-nonsense, audacious character of the wine rolled over her taste buds—aromatic and complex, just like the landscaper. Rich, fruity notes of cherries and currants melded together with the herby taste of olives and tangoed with spicy notes of ginger and pepper.

Long, greedy sips told Lily she’d been mistaken. The delectable taste wasn’t wine at all. It was the unique, individual tang of a unique, individual man.

Angus Lowe may typify a salt-of-the-earth kind of a guy. He may look like a magnificent eucalyptus—solid, strong and beautiful, but he tasted better than the finest bottle of red. Years spent maturing in a cask could not improve on his flavor.

Yet even as his kiss muddled her senses, worry clung to the edges of her mind.

Yes, kissing Angus might be the closest to heaven Lily ever got, but something wasn’t right. Something told her to stop.

About the author

Once Jess discovered it was okay to leave the bedroom door open in her romance novels, she decided to leave everything open. Buttons, zips, pants, number of lovers… Which is why her books are all steamy erotic romances.

Jess lived most of her life in South Africa, but the last eleven years have been spent in Australia. From the fast paced Sydney lifestyle to the laid back islands and beaches, there’s always another gorgeous Aussie setting for a contemporary romance.

Interview with Holly Hewson

HH: Jess, thank you so much for talking with us at TRS.

JD: Hi Holly. Thank you for having me here at TRS. =)

HH: Your featured book is Summer Wine and it is the first in a brand new series. What can you tell us about this series?

JD: Tastes Of Seduction is a three book series set on an Australian wine estate in the heart of The Hunter Valley—a wine region located about two hours out of Sydney. The Hunter Valley is the perfect setting for a romance series. It’s incredibly pretty, with mile upon mile of rolling green fields, and grapes vines as far as the  eye can see.

The three books are all loosely linked erotic romances, but each one stands alone and can be read without having read the others.

HH: How does Summer Wine kick it off?

Summer Wine introduces us to the heart of the series, The Rolling Hills Estate and Boutique Hotel. The new owner, Blake Seymour, is looking to renovate the hotel gardens, and his best friend, Lily Hemmington has just the man for the job: gorgeous landscaper, Angus Lowe.

Between the steamy summer days and several bottles of Blake’s award winning wines, it’s not long before sparks start flying between the three.

Here’s the blurb for this erotic, MMF romance:

Warning: This book should be enjoyed with a bottle of chilled white wine. You’ll need it to cool down when the heat among these three characters burns out of control.

HH: What do you like best about Lily and why will readers identify with her?

JD: Although Lily comes from a wealthy family, she’s just a regular woman like you or me. She’s the kind of person you’d choose as a close friend. Lily’s a bit of a dreamer, laughs frequently and is incredibly endearing. She eats altogether too many chicken nuggets and chips (fries) from McDonalds, and, like many of us, she understands the frustration and heartache of unrequited love all too well.

HH: What do you like best about Angus and Blake and why will readers love them?

JD: Perhaps the best thing about Angus and Blake is how completely different they are from each other.

Angus, by his own description, is a bogan. (That’s Aussie slang for a real unsophisticated kind of a guy.) He’s spent his whole life living just above the poverty line and has worked his ass off to establish himself as a respectable landscaper in the industry.

Computer software expert, Blake, on the other hand, became a self-made millionaire at twenty. He’s purchased the vineyard and hotel as both an investment and a place to relax on weekends.

Where Angus is serious and focused—with that dark, broody alpha male thing going on, Blake is relaxed and quick to smile. He’s also (as Angus quickly learns) easy to like.

Oh, and did I mention? They’re both sexy as hell.

HH: What can you tell us about the books to come in this series?

JD: Red Red Wine, book 2 in the series, is a male/female erotic romance. It features Blake’s business partner, Andrew Stafford, and the beautiful (and unfortunately unattainable) bride-to-be, Tori Worthing, whom he meets at The Rolling Hills two days before her wedding.

RED RED WINE:

She’s tantalizing…tempting…and taken.

Tastes of Seduction, Book 2

When Andrew Stafford’s business partner banishes him from work with strict instructions to take a much-needed holiday, the offer of five days relaxing in wine country is too enticing to refuse. As is the woman he encounters the minute he arrives at the hotel.

She’s everything Andrew’s ever wanted in a partner, and meeting her should be the answer to all of his prayers. Except for one thing—she’s strictly off limits.

Tori Worthing has never been happier. She’s about to marry an amazing man, and her life is laid out perfectly before her—until her dream winery wedding becomes an unexpected nightmare. Her heart shattered, she turns to the one place she never expected to find comfort—a stranger’s arms.

Tori and Andrew both know theirs is a rebound affair destined to end when the week is over. But when the time comes, letting her go proves to be the hardest step Andrew’s ever had to take.

Warning: Jilted brides are not supposed to have this much fun. Especially when the fun involves a bottle of red, a sexy man, and getting naked in the rose garden at midnight.

Kisses Sweeter Than Wine is the third book in the series, and I’m only half way through writing it, so I can’t spill all the details yet. But like Summer Wine, it’s a very, very hot MMF erotic romance, and comes with this warning:

Warning: A bottle of white, a bottle of red,

Perhaps a bottle of rose instead…

Ah, hell. Just bring them all. We all know good things come in threes.

HH: What was your biggest inspiration for this series?

JD: Visiting the Hunter Valley. My hubby and I recently went there for a romantic weekend away. And seriously? It couldn’t have been more romantic.

Picture this: Lazy mornings spent in bed, watching the sun rise over a stunning green valley, row upon row of lush vines dotting the horizon, and a hot air balloon floating through the sky.

And that doesn’t begin to touch on the magnificent estates we stopped at to taste delicious wines or the excellent restaurant where we spent hours over leisurely meals.

See? The idyllic setting for a romance…or three.

HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?

JD: I have a hugely exciting project coming up.

June sees the release of scorching hot ménage romance anthology called Down and Dirty. It features four erotic MFM novellas written by myself, Rhian Cahill, Lexxie Couper, and Sami Lee.

My novella, Party Of Three, is also the first book in a brand new series called The Sunday Night Dinner Club. The series focuses on a group of friends who have a standing dinner date every few weeks, and each book will focus on a different friend.

HH: What appearances will you make this year – online or in person?

JD: In May I head off to the Romantic Times Convention in New Orleans, and will be participating in the Giant Book Fair on Saturday the 17th of May, between 11am and 2pm. So if you happen to be in New Orleans on the day, please pop in to the Marriot Hotel on Canal Str, and say hi.

On the 9th of August, the Australian Romance Readers Association is holding a book signing event in Sydney, at The Pullman Hotel in Olympic Park. (If ever you’ve wanted to tour Australia, this is your perfect opportunity.)

HH: What do you do when you aren’t writing?

JD: I’m a fulltime mum. I spend my afternoons and weekends driving kids from one activity to the next. It’s autumn in Australia, which means soccer season is in full swing, so if you’re wondering where I am most of time, it’s on the sidelines, watching a game (and yelling my heart out).

HH: Where can readers find you online?

JD: I’m all over the net. =)
